Professional Background

Cathy began her career as a financial advisor with Waddell & Reed in 1985. Since then she has had the privilege of developing client relationships with many wonderful individuals and families whom she considers friends.

Cathy is a strong proponent of the comprehensive financial planning process. Having a thorough understanding of a client's situation as well as their future financial goals allows Cathy to serve her clients in a meaningful capacity. Throughout the planning process, Cathy assists clients in a wide array of financial areas, including strategic portfolio allocation, pre and post retirement planning, long-term care and elder care planning, life insurance, and small business retirement plans. Cathy believes in the benefits of investing with a plan.

Cathy is a CFP® professional, which is widely recognized as the standard of excellence for financial planners. Only 35% of financial advisors in the United States are Certified Financial Planner™ professionals*.

Family & Personal

Cathy and her husband, Joe, have three children: Tim (Laura), Mary Kate (Joe) and Grace (Tyler). One of Cathy’s favorite things to do is to spend time with her family. In particular, she treasures time with her growing number of grandchildren! Their innocence and beauty is a delightful, blessed gift.
